Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most well-known role was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting when she was in Preparatory School. The late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her journey in Chicago and worked in theater roles for many years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in movies and television shows. Anna's debut part was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn took the stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the play Numbered Day.
